about

"River of Colours"

'River of colours' is a celebration of the rich diversity of life.
There is so much to experience and nourish us with a sense of learning and growth. However, all the colourful reflections of life are connected as one unified expression. Like a river flowing and exploring it’s way through a magnificent landscape of endless possibilities. All of which reflect back onto the surface of the water of unified consciousness.

The tones of musical sound that flow from the Bansuri flute often feel to be representative of this realisation. Sound pours through as many colours into the heart of the receptive listeners.

This album began to birth from within me in 2019. I was so inspired by music I had heard from a number of outstandingly superb musicians. I felt to explore what they had created and find ways to incorporate new ideas offered by them into my own musical landscape.
By giving my attention to the very finest details of the musical creations offered by these artists, I found that I could almost feel reality as they do. I was overwhelmed by what I discovered actually. Countless new dimensions and realms of consciousness revealed themselves and blessed me with a far deeper understanding and appreciation of how inexhaustibly magical this reality is.

I want to thank all the musicians who have inspired me and nourished my growth as a musician and a person.

I hope that you enjoyed this album. I fully surrendered into the process of it’s growth and development toward full fruition, and have felt so nourished in return. Therefore it brings me great joy to share such a delightful blessing with you.

"Music that is saturated with soul force is the real universal music, understandable by all hearts. If harmonious music and sweet words can be converted into soul awakening, they are contributing to the cause of one’s liberation.

Indian music is a subjective, spiritual, and individualistic art, aiming not at symphonic brilliance but at personal harmony with the Oversoul. The profound aim of Indian music is to blend the musician with the Cosmic Song, the creation with his Creator.” - Paramahansa Yogananda
