about

"Meeting of Ancient Voices" was conceived in 2004 in the Himalayan foothills of Himachal Pradesh.

In the tranquil serenity of a lush green valley ladened with inspiring reflections of nature, the first seeds of musical expression settled, rooted and sprouted fourth with zealous enthusiasm.

Many wonderful friends magically manifested along my path over the next several years in various locations around the world or connected through the portal of the internet, and together we nurtured this album into full fruition.

As musicians devoted to 'Sacred Sound' who are fully expanded with gratitude for the countless blessings that dedication to the musical path has given us, we have no sense of separateness due to identification labels such as gender, nationality, colour etc. Rather, we celebrate our unity. Sound supports this experience. As all the various expressions of sound are but one phenomena, which is 'Sound', so it is that all the various faces of people are but one face. I call it the face of 'Love'.
You could say that we are all one delicious meal filled with exciting spices.

Numerous ancient styles have inspired this album into existence. I have felt the ancient musical masters passing their musical blessings through my friends and I to become this offering. And so I felt to call it "Meeting of Ancient Voices".

Thank you to my dear friends who have contributed their amazingly highly developed artistry to this flower of sacred sound.
