This album feature the very much loved Raga Bhairavi, which I perform in what is known as a 'Mishra' (mixed) style.
The second track is the very much loved folk tune Raga Pahadi Dhun.

It has been my dream to reach a level whereby I felt confident to perform and record this Classical Raga and Dhun based Raga since I first started my adventure with Indian classical music back in 1996.

Thank you as always to my beloved Guru Ji (respectable teacher) Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia for your inspiration and guidance.

Accompanying me on the Tabla drums is my dear friend and highly accomplished musician, Amit Mishra.
I have been friends with his family of very talented musicians since around 1998. His performance on this album is truly fantastic.
Amit is a wonderful person with a Mishra (mixture) of charming qualities. It is always such a pleasure to collaborate with him.
